Positive Masculinities

In a world where news is often dominated by the actions and words of toxic men, it is important to hear other voices.

There are so many ways to be a man in 2019. There are so many ways to contribute to this world in a positive way that promotes tolerance and open-mindedness.

The group show “Positive Masculinities” invites artists to express their ideas and emotions on what it means to be a man, gay or straight, of any racial background; the male feminist and the male who can also question his gender without feeling threatened.

This show also encourages conversations (sometimes through provocation) about LGBTQ+ issues and struggles as well as gender identification and its meaning.
